Founded in 1977 by Steven Richford, the Richfords business has evolved into a specialist Fire & Flood Damage Management business serving the UK from operations centres in Redruth, Plymouth and Exeter. Today, Richfords Fire & Flood continues to develop and prosper, enjoying the committed leadership of its founder, Steven Richford.
Richfords Fire & Flood is proud to be a Corporate member of the British Damage Management Association (BDMA). This is the highest level of accreditation a damage restoration firm can achieve and means that our technicians are trained to the highest standards of British Damage Management Association (BDMA) training.
Richfords Fire & Flood is so highly regarded by the British Damage Management Association (BDMA) that our director Steven Richford was asked by the British Damage Management Association (BDMA) to write the current BDMA Training Manual.
From Richfords production and administration facility in Redruth and the satellite production units at Plymouth and Exeter, £1m of technical assets, plant and stock are managed, serviced and deployed all over the UK.

Embedded within Richfords culture coding is a compulsion to provide clients with the best quality/price ratio for its services. It fuels the commitment to quality assurance, continuous investments in training, technology and a rewarding suggestions scheme.
This has fostered a knowledge-driven team. A team that studies and learns from best practice techniques in USA and Europe.
Reflecting Richfords established commitment to skills development, a curriculum of both general and specialist training courses have been authored and regularly updated by the company.
Personal development appraisals identify agreed training objectives. Additionally, team members can select their own choice of learning subjects.
