Wet To Dry - Innovation

KrugerAir concrete slab drying

Do you ever feel frustrated at the time it takes to dry concrete slabs? We have innovative ways to speed this process. One of the
methods uses high pressure suction equipment, as shown on the left. This actually pulls the water out as a liquid, “like sucking
juice from an ice lolly.”

In the picture the suction pump, in the far corner, sucks water through from the red pads and collects it in the white tank.

It is much faster than relying on evaporation alone.

This technique is part of the innovative KrugerAir technology. Designed to deliver higher performance, better value and quicker results, allowing normal use of the premises again.

KrugerAir Injection drying - releasing trapped moisture.

Sometimes moisture becomes trapped behind wall panelling and plasterboard. This is especially likely with an overhead plumbing
leak. The KrugerAir injection drying system avoids the need for interior demolition to dry this out.

Richfords invented and pioneered the use of the KrugerAir injection drying system in the UK. This is a great way to quickly deal with trapped moisture, typically drying out plasterboard with insulation in 3-5 days. It also works well with lath and plaster or wood panelling. Damage to heritage buildings can be avoided by this system.

The latest KrugerAir small bore 8mm system (bottom left) has been especially designed to be unobtrusive. In some cases, we will use a micro inject adaptor needing only 4mm sized holes.
