Traditional methods used to dry concrete slabs following a flood can take a long time. We have innovative ways to speed the process of building drying. One of the methods uses high pressure suction equipment. This actually pulls the flood water out as a liquid, “like sucking juice from an ice lolly.”
It is much faster method of building drying than relying on evaporation alone.
This building drying technique is part of the innovative KrugerAir technology. Designed to deliver higher performance, better value and quicker results, allowing normal use of the premises again.
Sometimes moisture becomes trapped behind wall panelling and plasterboard. This is especially likely with an overhead plumbing leak. The KrugerAir Injection Building Drying System avoids the need for interior demolition to dry this out and avoids toxic mould (mold) or mould (mold) growth.
Richfords has an exclusive relationship with KrugerAir who invented and pioneered the use of the KrugerAir Injection Building Drying System in the UK. This is a great way to quickly deal with trapped moisture, typically drying out plasterboard with insulation in 3-5 days. It also works well with lathe and plaster or wood panelling. Damage to heritage buildings can be avoided by this system.
The latest KrugerAir small bore 8mm system has been especially designed to be unobtrusive. In some cases, we will use a micro inject adaptor needing only 4mm sized holes.
