The company and your role as a Flexi - Tech

Richfords are in the business of giving people their lives back after suffering events such as fires or floods. We respond promptly to support customers with positive actions to enable them to re-gain use of their property as soon as possible. These could be a domestic residence, business, school, office etc.

We work for many of the UK's top insurers and loss adjusting firms. Through our dedicated claims handlers and our highly experienced BDMA Restoration Technicians we are able to reduce claims costs, reduce claims life cycles and most importantly reduce stress for business and homeowners.

Due to the continued expansion of our business we currently have vacancies for FlexiTech's to join our team of talented Restoration Technicians.

In the Flexi – Tech role you would

• Work closely with the our restoration technicians to carry out expert restoration
• Attend fire damaged properties to remove fire residue and restore the property to its pre-incident condition
• Attend water damaged properties to carry out damage limitation work such as extracting standing water and install drying equipment
• Work on content items both on site and in plant
• Be working on a flexible basis with us
• Be able to gain the respect of our customers while working in their homes or businesses

 

Professional and technical competencies

• You will need to be a capable person who has a good knowledge of how practical work is effectively carried out to a high standard

System and procedural competencies

• You will be able to follow standard procedures to ensure proper administration of the company and projects
• You will be able to strictly follow Health and Safety procedures for your safety and the safety of others and to comply with your legal obligations

Interpersonal and team competencies

• You will be amiable and socially acceptable to a wide range of people and able to communicate at all levels
• You will be able to listen and understand other’s position and reach agreements, but at the same time be appropriately assertive when required
• You will have a good work ethic, and natural enthusiasm
• You will be able to motivate and win collaboration through a positive and optimistic attitude
• You will be able to work well within a team
• You will be able to work alone and take responsibility for tasks assigned you
• You will be able to administer any necessary paperwork

General

• You will need to be a non-smoker
• You will hold a full UK car driving license
• You will need to be able to maintain a level of fitness appropriate to the role
• You will have a clean and tidy experience
• You will be willing to be on the “On-call” rota
• You will have another source of income
