Claims Administrator

£16k + bonus

Our business is restoring lives and livelihoods following fires, floods and other incidents which cause damage to properties.

We are experiencing growing success with increasing demand for our services. As a result we are looking for a new member to join our claims team based in Redruth.

Our claims office is the busy hub of our business. The Claims Administrators work closely together as a team managing all of the claims we work on.

This role involves first line support of our customers who have been affected by fires and floods. This involves liasing with loss adjusters and insurance professionals to keep them updated on project progress and processing Technician's paperwork, including timesheets and visit sheets to ensure that all projects are kept up to date.

In addition to these daily activities the Claims Administrators also carry out a wide variety of tasks to facilitate the work we carry out on projects. For example, arranging delivery and collection of equipment, debris and other services to project specific sites.

To be successful you will be practical, efficient and enjoy working in a busy and fast paced office. An excellent telephone manner and good organisational skills are essential. Good knowledge of the major Microsoft systems is needed as well as a general good standard of computer literacy.

Previous experience of a customer services role or insurance industry experience is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will also be a non-smoker.
